What to Expect from Andis Clipper Blades
Andis clipper blades come in two patented styles. The UltraEdge trimmer and clipper blades are crafted from carbon steel and coated in chrome to prevent rust and corrosion. Because the clipper blades are strong, they provide a precision cutting edge and do not wear quickly. UltraEdge Andis clipper blades last a long time saving you money.
CeramicEdge Andis clipper blades gain their strength from zirconium oxide ceramics. The ceramic structure remains cool, even after extended use, so there is no risk of burnt skin. The zirconium oxide ceramic blade also remains sharp for years and resists breaking and corrosion. Because they are so strong, they stand up to numerous people using the clippers or trimmers regularly, whether it is in a salon or households with numerous children and adults.
Choosing the Correct Andis Clipper Blade Size
On the Andis.com website, there is a box that asks for your clipper or trimmer's model number. Find the model number on the back of your clipper or trimmer unit. The Andis clipper model number is either printed or molded into the plastic.

Once you've chosen the best blade for your needs, you may be given the option between the CeramicEdge or UltraEdge blades. Note that CeramicEdge blades are not available for every clipper or trimmer model.
