Now here is a bit of information you may not know. The people who make Fieldcrest robes also make Cannon robes and Royal Velvet robes. Or at least now they do. All of these robes have been around for years and offer quality to Middle America. So how did they end up coming together?
The corporate fairy tale goes like this. Once upon a time there were three mills, Cannon Mills, founded in 1887, Fieldcrest Mills founded in 1893 and Pillowtex founded in 1954. In 1986, Fieldcrest Mills bought Cannon Mills to create Fieldcrest Cannon. In 1997, Pillowtex Corporation bought Fieldcrest Cannon. And so far they are living happily ever after.
