Formal wear for the prom:
The rules of etiquette for high school prom formal wear are more lenient than most other events. Teenage boys must gage their choice of attire based on the prom theme and their date's dress color. With those two rules in place, he can select from a range of colors and styles. The mandarin collar is popular with teenagers today; a buttoned collar in place of a tie and the long tailed jacket, imitating Keanu Reeves' outfit in the movie "The Matrix". Pastel colors are acceptable for this type of evening function, but black and grey tuxedos are still classic and sophisticated. You will never go wrong with a black tuxedo.
