Whether you are interested in spicing up an outfit, or just simply staying warm on cool days, a sweater vest is the item for you. They can be found in many different fabrics; wool, cotton, cashmere, and polyester.
Many sweater vests are sleeveless but not all of them. Some sweaters that have a busy patterned torso and plain arms are referred to as sweater vests. They appear as though you are wearing two shirts but really it is just one. Most are made with v-necks, but you will find them with swoop necks, turtle necks, and many other patterns.
A popular coloring pattern for these vests is argyle. This diamond design can be found in a multitude of colors. They are available in pastels for a spring golfing day, or warmer shades for a winter day. Some sweater vests are made to be pulled over the head. Give a man a plaid shirt, a plain sweater vest, a pair of khakis and he has an outfit that he can mix and match. This is a classic look. He can wear his vest with jeans for that evening dinner or other outings.
