Reef is a company that is inspired by the surfing lifestyle. Brothers, Fernando and Santiago Aguerre, founded Reef in 1984. After living the surfer lifestyle themselves and owning a surf oriented store in Argentina, the men found their way to southern California and launched their sandal company in La Jolla, California.
