Technology in Resound Hearing Aids

During the past five years, Resound hearing aids have broken many technology barriers. These are the cutting-edge of hearing aid devices.

One of the greatest advancements in Resound hearing aids occurred when they came up with a rechargeable hearing aid that allows you to recharge the batteries without first removing batteries from the hearing aid devices.

Resound hearing aids were the first to incorporate the invisible hearing aids that use remote microphone technology. These hearing aids are hidden behind the ear while a clear wire sends sounds into the inner ear. A few years earlier, GN Resound also released the world's first open-fit hearing aid that allows air to move in and out of the ear naturally without the hearing aid blocking any air flow.

In 2009, Resound hearing aids became the first hearing aids with digital surround sound processing. The hearing aids capture and process bass and treble separately to create incredible sound quality.

Finally, 2010 led to a major announcement from GN ReSound. Their newest hearing aid will feature wireless technology. The receiver is completely invisible and doesn't require a body-worn streaming device. Working at speeds of 2.4 GHz, the hearing aid is certain to impress the hearing disabled.
