Mounted dog gates are attached to a wall, entryway or banister. Similar to a child safety gate, it is designed to swing either way and is made from durable coated steel. Mounted gates are perfect to withstand the chewing and jumping of a large dog. Available in many widths and heights, easy to install, and mounting kits are available to protect your wall or banister from damage.
Pressure mounted gates use spring pressure to hold the gate in place. A variety of gates are available made from tubular steel, wood or nylon meshing. Pressure mounted pet gates are not recommended for confining large or strong animals. Dogs that are still in the chewing stage could easily destroy a mesh gate.
Plastic wire mesh is another option for a pet gate. The wire mesh gate is supported by steel or wood framing. Expands to fit a range of openings and is pressure mounted.
Accordion wood gates can secure a smaller dog or animal. Excellent for very wide openings and is mounted with hardware. Smaller gates swing open either way.
