Intex Filter Cartridge Sizes

Three cartridge sizes work with the Intex pool filters. They include:

- SF-3
- Type A
- Type B

SF-3 above ground Intex pool filter cartridges only fit the smallest 300 gph filter pump. This filter cartridge is used in the small Easy Set Pool system. Find them online at www.intexstore.com or department stores that sell Easy Set Pools.

The next size up is the Type A Intex pool filter cartridges. They fit into medium filter pump systems. Many of the Easy Set Pool and metal frame above ground pool systems use Type A. You will find them online or in department stores like Wal-Mart or K-Mart.

Larger Type B Intex pool filter cartridges work with both chlorine and saltwater pool systems. They fit larger pools, such as the Round Ultra, Oval Frame and Rectangular Ultra Frame swimming pools.
