All Intex pool covers contain pinholes across the cover’s surface so that water does not accumulate and tear the cover. Pool covers offer rope or bungee ties to create a snug fit to the sides of the pool. The vinyl cover is durable and does not weaken when exposed to chlorine or intense sunlight.

Using Intex Pool Covers

When everyone exits the pool, pull the ladder out and store it safely away. Two people easily cover a pool in minutes. Remember that Intex pool covers do not prevent against drowning accidents. A child’s weight can tear or rip the cover trapping the child in the water.

Take the folded pool cover and drape one edge across the frame of your swimming pool. Pull the remaining cover across the surface of the water to cover the other edge. Circle the outside of the pool to make sure the edge of the cover is covering the sides. Tighten the string or stretchable cord to ensure a snug, wind-resistant fit.

Solar Pool Covers

In addition to the pool covers designed to keep debris out, Intex has a line of solar covers that fit Easy Set and Metal Frame pools. These help warm your swimming pool water. The solar Intex pool covers come in 10-, 12-, 15-, 16- and 18-foot sizes.

Solar pool covers float on the surface of your pool water attracting sunlight. The sunlight then warms the above ground pool’s water. Solar pool covers do not prevent debris from entering the pool.
