The down side is that you traditionally need to measure the spa yourself, which is the most critical part of ordering a cover. Should the cover not fit correctly, you can't return it.

The Internet is the newest option in hot tub cover shopping. Should you choose this route, your experience would be much like buying your spa cover directly from a spa cover manufacturer.
