Because Feng Shui is so involved with home décor, there are many products on the market to cater to any need you may have. Usually these products have very specific rules regarding their uses, so it is important to speak with a consultant or at the very least to research Feng Shui using websites and books.

• Bagua is an octagonal map of Feng Shui, representing the nine areas of life-prosperity, fame, relationships, family, health, creativity & children, skills and knowledge, career, and helpful people & travel. Often, these will be sold with a small mirror in the center, which reflects sha Chi out of the house. Generally, this is a powerful cure, and should not be placed inside of the home, but above an entrance.

• Wind chimes are another product associated with Feng Shui, bringing luck and harmony to the home. There are many brands of wind chimes on the market, some catering directly to practitioners of Feng Shui, for example Woodstock has a line of Feng Shui wind chimes designed to increase such things as Energy, Fortune, and Peace.

• Statues and fountains are used in Feng Shui to control the flow of Chi in the home and garden. Many Feng Shui suppliers carry Buddhist statues and figurines, as well as small electric fountains.

• Suncatchers and hanging crystals bring good fortune to the home, inviting the flow of Chi. These are best if hung in the window to fill the home with color and light.

• Wall hangings and scrolls break up straight lines in the home, slowing the flow of Chi, which creates a more harmonious environment.

• Plants and animals, such as goldfish, can bring in Chi. Make sure the plants are leafy, green, and healthy. Plants like ferns or flowers are preferable to small plants like cactus or bonsai.

There are many more Feng Shui products and services available, but beware of products that offer a quick cure or an easy fix. It is important to place these products properly to enhance the flow of Chi, which can only be done by master practitioners.
