Aga cookware is available in several ranges. All are well suited to use not only on Aga cookers but also on other types of cookers. By the same token, numerous other fine brands of cookware are suitable for use on Aga cookers.
The Aga Product Line-Up. Aga products includes pots and pans in the following ranges:
- Aga Stainless Steel: Recessed lid handles make it possible to stack covered pans in an oven or for storage. Heavy bottoms remain flat for good contact with hob. Polished stainless steel pans with stainless steel handles are ovenproof and suitable for all types of hob including induction.
- Aga Cast Aluminium: Heavy cast aluminium bodies have machined bottom for good contact with heat source. All pieces have one or another type of Teflon non-stick coating, with rather disappointing warranties, some as short as one year on the coating. Fry pans have detachable handles so they can go in the oven. Lids are flat for stacking in the oven.
- Aga Hard Anodised: Heavy hard-anodised aluminium pans have stainless steel handles. Fry pans are non-stick. Lids are stainless steel with recessed handles to enable stacking.
- Aga Cast Iron: Cast iron pans are coated with porcelain enamel in choice of six colours. Bottoms are machined flat for good contact with heat source. Aga offers some unusual pieces including an enamelled wok.
