Lodge cookware is all cast iron all the time. The company offers a few lines of Lodge castiron cookware, including pre-seasoned and unseasoned bare cast iron cookware and enameled cast iron cookware. The pre-seasoned lines, called Lodge Logic cast iron cookware and Lodge Pro-Logic cast iron cookware, which differ in style only, are their best sellers, with more items to choose from than their Lode Original Finish castiron cookware line, which requires that you season it yourself prior to use. The pre-seasoning consists of high-fired spray-coated oil. It's a start. You'll still want to continue with the seasoning process for a while as you would if you had done your own seasoning to begin with (See: cast iron cookware).
Features & Advantages of Enamel Lodge Cookware Sets
Enamel Lodge cookware has a chip-resistant, non-reactive finish suitable for all kinds of foods; but the company recommends it be used only over low to moderate heat and only up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit in the oven.
In addition to typical kitchen pans that include skillets, fryers, Dutch ovens, griddles, and baking molds, Lodge cookware extends into camp Dutch ovens, which have tripod feet for use in a campfire.
