Here is a list of the knife warranties of major knife brands.
- Cutco Knife: Cutco backs their knives with the Cutco® Forever Guarantee.
The Forever Guarantee has 4 parts, and it covers EVERY Cutco product (ex: garden tools, wooden knife blocks), not just our knives:
1. Forever Performance Guarantee: If anything EVER goes wrong with your product, you can send it back to the factory, and we will fix or replace it free of charge, forever.
2. Forever Sharpness Guarantee: If your knife EVER gets dull, or to dull to be sharpened at home, you can send it back to the factory, and we will polish it and sharpen it free of charge (the customer only pays the shipping, which is guaranteed to never exceed $9.00), forever

3. The Forever Replacement for Misuse or Abuse Guarantee: If you ever break or damage your Cutco using it for something it wasn't designed for, i.e. gross neglect (ex: opening a can of paint with your knife), we will meet you halfway by selling the product to you for half the current retail value.
4. The 15-Day Unconditional Money Back Guarantee: If sometime in the first 15 business days after the day you recieve your Cutco (so 21 real days), you are not satisfied, you can send it back and get EVERY cent you spent on it (including tax, shipping, etc). If you get a set, and only dislike one knife, you may send that solitary knife back. It is a truly unconditional guarantee.
- Global Knife: Global covers all manufacturing defects for the life of the knife, including cracking or breaking. It does not cover cracks or breaks caused by abuse or misuse. It also covers rusting and pitting of the knife if it is caused by the factory heating process. It does not cover minor discoloration or rusting caused by misuse.
- Henckels Knife: Henckels knives are covered with a lifetime warranty against breakage or damage caused by a defect in manufacture. It does not cover and damage done by using the knife for purposes other than they were intended. It also does not cover any damage to wood products, including handles.
- Kershaw Knife: All Kershaw knives are covered by a limited lifetime guarantee for their original owner. Any Kershaw knife found to have a factory defect from materials or construction will be repaired or replaced by Kershaw Knife. Any defect or breakage caused by using the knife anything except for cutting is considered abuse, and will void the warranty.
- Miracle Blade 3: Miracle Blade is covered by a lifetime warranty against factory defects. If any of their knives are found to be defective, send the knives back, and they will be replaced at no charge, beyond shipping and handling. This only applies to people who use the Miracle Blade for household, non-commercial purposes.
- Wusthof Knife: Wusthof covers their knives with a lifetime warranty from defects. It does not cover against broken or chipped blades caused by stress to the blade, melted handles, or third party damage, such as damage done by a sharpening service. If a knife is determined to be defective, they will repair or replace the item free of charge.
