The company is better known for its cameras, and Minolta binoculars are their only entry in the sports optics market. But binoculars are not an afterthought, either. The line is well thought out and includes standard, compact, and zoom models ranging from 8x25 to 8-20x50. Most models have fully multi–coated or multi–coated optics. Prices start under $50 and top out at a few hundred.
Pocket models of Minolta binoculars are offered for use as opera glasses, but they are not configured like traditional opera glasses nor, at over ten ounces and at 2.8 x 4.2 x 1.8 inches, are they as tiny as some.
The company web site offers a dealer directory as well as a limited selection of reconditioned binoculars for direct sale.
