Simmons Outdoor Corporation, a division of Meade Instruments Corporation, bought the brand name and product line when the original Redfield Optics went bankrupt in the late 1990s. Simmons continues to sell scopes made according to the Redfield designs.

Redfield scopes are organized into four lines. Numerous riflescope models are available, most with variable (zoom) magnification, in sizes up to 50 mm. Both conventional grid and red dot reticles are available.
