Waterproof Fogproof Easy To Use Features. Riflescopes are marketed for hunting, target competition, military, and law enforcement applications. Both features and costs vary accordingly. Look for bright, high-contrast optics with coatings that enhance target acquisition in the conditions where you'll be using the scope; Waterproof construction; fog–proof coating; and an accurate, easy-to-use reticle.

Additional Features. Many include a variable focus (similar to zoom ) feature. Most have crosshairs or other conventional etched reticles. Some have red dot reticles.
